When they ask me what I am currently doing, I don't even know what to tell them anymore. In fact, I am statistically unemployed.
I am currently working on Social Networks and SEO optimization for clients, and I also work with several global companies.
My job in the past 4 years, has ceased to be a standard 9 to 5 job, which I have despised for years and become something I have always dreamed of. It wasn’t just about getting up early, which I really don’t have a problem with. It was about freedom. What is essentially the most important thing in life and what no salary can compensate for. It was also about the fact that 18 days a year was never enough. Especially not if you’re planning on going to Africa for a few months.
A few years ago to I have decided to change some things in life, but somehow, time passed and I felt like I wasn’t making progress. My every day was the same, and when I would look back and look at the months that passed, I would realize that I had done nothing worth mentioning.
Good side's
- Freedom
- Possibility of earning
- Travel the world
Bad side
Step One - Gain the necessary skills
You need to choose a skill with which you will be able to make money online. The goal here is not to learn all the possible things that exist, but to focus on one or two and be good at them.
Step 2 - Find the clients
Step 3 - Choose a destination
This is the fun part. Now that you already have the skill you have, the money dripping from the side and when there are no more fears that will stop you, it’s time to buy that plane ticket! The place you will travel to depends mostly on what you like, and what you need to take into account are two things.
- That place should / must be cheap
- The Internet must be stable
Everything else is not so important. If you have not yet chosen your destination, I recommend that you visit website Nomad List, which contains a list of the best destinations in the world according to the ratings of other digital nomads.
